About

MICHAELA

Michaela stormed into the cycling scene through the junior ranks, winning gold + two silver medals at the Junior World Championships before making it onto the elite team pursuit podium just one year later. After two tenth placings at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, Mickey narrowly missed out on the Olympic track team in 2020, choosing to then focus her efforts on tearing up the American road racing scene. Mickey has since transitioned to Europe and now rides for Italian team, BePink.

Mickey hopes to go World Tour on the road, whilst also keep that foot in the door for the track, with eyes set on the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the 2024 Olympics in Paris. When Mickey’s not racing for BePink on the roads of Europe, or cutting laps around international velodromes, she can be found dressed up to the nine’s along the marvellous Douro River at her European base in Porto, Portugal.
