Awen
The younger sister to three brothers, Awen followed suit and quickly began immersed in the world of Welsh Cycling. Her passion took off, and soon her other sports and passions were forced to take a back-seat. Awen balanced a junior career on the track and road as part of the GB academy, before discovering her strengths in climbing and team-leadership, which caught the eye of the Canyon-SRAM development team in 2024.
Young Awen Roberts is the ultimate teammate and leader, demonstrating qualities beyond her years. She has played the role as team captain in many races with her National Junior squad, including the Junior Road World Championships where her teammates finished 1st and 2nd in 2022 and 2023. Awen is the most positive person you will come across - we have no doubt her can-do attitude and leadership skills will take her all the way!
