Whilst women’s cycling is on the rise, there is a long way to go. In a notoriously expensive sport, opportunities for female cyclists are few and far between, particularly for those from outside of Europe. Even if you make it, the majority of professional female cyclists are underpaid, pressured into racing, pressured into signing contracts or simply feel unsafe within their team. As an athlete exposed to this at times throughout her career, three-time World Champion, Annette Edmondson OLY set out to do something about it.
